It seems that for the past couple of months my Moodle site has been running sluggishly. I am using a VPS and asked the hosting company to look at the memory settings and anything else on their end and they say it looks fine. What they did say is as follows:
Currently, your memory_limit for PHP processes is at 256M, which is close to the maximum you would want for PHP:
root@tor [/home.......]# php -i | grep memory_limit
memory_limit => 256M => 256M
In terms of the site running slow, I checked it through a 3rd party speed tester, and it's about about 3.5 seconds:

What would you recommend my next step be? I am currently running Moodle 2.8.5
