Upgrade Advice

Upgrade Advice

The last time we went for an upgrade we had a number of issues with plugins not on disk

Which is rather obvious as we just deleted the old code and copied the new upgrade code over.

The issue I have is i do not know the location of the plugins in the original application code, otherwise I could just jump in and grab the buggers. Also some plugins have been developed by the company and I also do not know where these are either

Any tips to finding plugin locations? or where they might be hiding in the legacy code?

I don't want to run an upgrade until I know there location so I can copy them back

Thanks

Head to your sites Plugin Overview page (Site administration > Plugins > Plugins overview) and it should list them in categories (to see just non-core click additional only).

The name should give you a hint too:

Or if at the update page it should still list in categories:
