Any help is appreciated. I have read that this issue should have been solved but not for us it seems.
Moodle 2.8.6 (Build: 20150511) on WAMP.
Shibboleth has been set up and some accounts (e.g. my one) is already working with the authentication.
I have set up a CSV file to upload our members of staff so I can enrol them to the correct categories.
When uploading, the authentication drop down does not display an option for Shibboleth.
When using the auth column in the CSV file, it says "not recognised", creates the accounts but reverts to another authentication method.
However, I can change the authentication manually for each user if I go to a user account. This is obviously not a long term solution. Our technical support is happy to run a SQL script to change these after account creation but with accounts created daily come September, this is really is not an option either.
Why does the CSV file upload not accept Shibboleth as an authentication type?
Is there a work around?
Any help appreciated as I said.
