At work, something from our server is hitting on a distant (associate's) server every 10 minutes for an RSS feed, which is no longer functional. His server log identifies the originator as Moodlebot. Can anyone tell me what is Moodlebot and from where it might originate? I can find no documentation on it. We do have three Moodle sites.

Any course can have an RSS feed ... could be an HTML block in a course.
Anyway, use your DB ... table mdl_block_rss_client
In the Moodle Admin interface, use the Search for 'rss' and that will hit on more than one config area for RSS feeds. Go to: http://yoursite/admin/settings.php?section=blocksettingrss_client
There is a button that points to:
site/blocks/rss_client/managefeeds.php
where one can remove the RRS feeds
