Lesson

So I have added several lesson pages so that the students enrolled in the course may read it, and study it. The problem is, that the content per page is usually only a paragraph or two, and the "Next" and "Previous" buttons are really close to it and the content is basically concentrated into one small part in the center of a large page. In essence, the content page looks bad, in terms of aesthetics. My supervisor would like this to be fixed somehow, and would like the content to take up more of the page, but I am not sure how to do this. I also do not have any background or experience with php/html/css/javascript so I was wondering if there was a way to fix my problem already built in to moodle. I am using moodle 2.9. Thanks
