Removing '&amp ;' text from a URL (moodle 2.5)

Hello,

I hope someone can help me out please. I am not able to got to the write link because of the '&' text in the url of the link. When I manually change the '&' text on the url to '&' it works fine. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem so that I do need to be doing manually please? You can see the URL example below.

"https://www.example.com/theme/school/messaging/index.php?user7=55542&user8=5"

But when I manually change it to the one below everything is fine.

"https://www.example.com/theme/school/messaging/index.php?user7=55542&user8=5"

I will appreciate your help please.

Hi Menre,
that's strange, you shouldn't touch them as they'll work as expected in the HTML Moodle delivers to the browser.

Hi Matteo,

Thanks for the suggestions. It was actually a PHP error in our api.php file. But reading what is on the link that you sent, gave us an idea of what to do. It is fine now.
