Memory errors using html editor in IE5.5

I been using the editor successfully for some months, however am now experiencing the following errors when using the editor (intermittent)

iexplore.exe - application error, "0x0000004c" The memory could not be "read"

I do not know if this is an IE error or a moodle error, any ideas?

That'll be a problem with the Javascript implementation in IE itself and/or theres a problem with your copy of IE (trojan/spyware/adware/virus/etc.).
