Now that EasyPHP 1.7 is available there are some changes that could improve the Windows installation process.
Point 4 - link is now http://www.easyphp.org/telechargements/dn.php?F=easyphp1-7
Point 7 - Pointing the browser to http://localhost/mysql/ didn't work for me but I was able to get into PHPMyAdmin by the following:
Right-click the black E in the toolbar tray and choose Administration. Click DB Management (beside PHPMyAdmin).
EasyPHP also gives the option of providing some pages in English. Presumably other languages will be available soon. Perhaps this point could be inserted before point 7.
http://www.easyphp.org/telechargements/dn.php?F=indexUS_1.7 gives the download of a small zipped folder which gives English versions of www and home folder in the EasyPHP1-7 folder. They can be copied over the default files which are in French.
