Agree that we need to 'encourage' rather than let it be seen as optional. Don't forget we are working with adult learners so carrot tends to work better than stick. I am currently working on a Trainer's Toolkit which will indicate possible learning blends or pathways and hopefully encourage online activities that support the classroom events. I will post ideas on this as I develop it further. Thanks again for your help.
