Short text answer - return key submits

Hello,

This may be a somewhat random question but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to prevent an evaluation form being submitted when the Return/Enter button is pressed? I have a number of users who are inclined to press the return key in an attempt to separate out their responses and this, unfortunately, submits their evaluation when it's not actually complete.

Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

could it be useful make questions required? Or maybe to use dependence values?

Hello Simon,

Thanks for getting back to me. Your suggestion to make questions required is a good one and would indeed solve my problem. I will also put a note for respondents before the evaluation, asking them not to use the return key mid-response, so that they understand what is happening if they start to see messages about required answers etc.
