You really need to give more information e.g. what plugin (both Certificate and Simple Certificate have versions that work with the latest 2.8 Moodle) what do you mean by doesn't work, does it show errors, have you turned on debugging to see if any errors are shown, are you just informing people or are you looking to resolve an issue?
