Check slash arguments is enabled (Site administration > Server > HTTP).

Mario, this sometimes happens due to corrupt cache.

in moodledata folder, you'll find two folders, "cache" and "localcache"

delete both, reload the site (upon reloading both folders will come back)

and see if things got fixed.

Do you have a "hosted server" or VPS?

Double check in cPanel (if you have this) that you have enabled all of the proper PHP 5.5 extensions (see my graphic).

I have Moodle running on my GoDaddy hosted linux server, as an experiment.  It seems to work fine.

In cPanel, I first pick the tool titled "Select PHP version", then I can drop down and pick php 5.5 (see my two graphics.)

Are you on a linux hosted server (hopefully, and not Windows).  How old is your product?  GoDaddy has new hosted servers, and I got mine maybe 8 months ago.)  You might need to contact goDaddy to upgrade.
