Does anybody know how to export files from HOT POTATOES, and how import them to the QUIZ plugin?

First confirm that you have the Hot Potatoes question import plugin installed on your site.
Then create your Hot Potatoes quiz on your PC, save it in a normal Hot Potaoes file, e.g. a JCloze activity is stored in a .jcl file.
Finally, navigate to your Moodle Quiz, and import that Hot Potatoes file into the question bank for that quiz.
