User names: allow just a name, instead of first name & surname.

Hi,

I'm now on Moodle 2.8.5. The idea is to set up a Moodle server for a college environment in Korea.

Moodle seems to insist on each user having a first name and a surname (two separately required fields). However, in Korea (and many other parts in Asia) it is the custom to have a name not split into first name and surname. I need to follow the Korean name system (e.g. not imposing a Western style name splitting), but Moodle does not seem to make that a configurable option.....

For example, a person would have a 'one-chunk' name as "김윤아" and then there is a 'second name' that would spell the name into a-b-c: "Kim Yun Ah".

I wonder if a localization configuration option regarding names other than Western style could find a way into Moodle.

Thank you.

Rob.
