Unique logins at site level are tracked and reported in the Statistics report. However unique logins are not available at Course level (though they wouldn't be logins at this stage so unique 'visitors' is probably a more accurate term).
Instead at Course Level we can only see data on 'Views' and this figure is a cumulative figure - so a single user could rack up a large 'Views' figure for a course by browsing steadily around a course.
So, as I understand it, we are not able to accurately report visitor frequency to courses which would be extremely useful I think.
Firstly - have I missed something? Can unique visits data to courses be seen?
Secondly - has anyone developed any code that collates the 'views' data by username so for instance, 30 views in a day by Johnny in Course A is reported as 1 unique visit?
