Worked great in edit mode. Did exactly what i wanted as in 34 separate sections that were in topic form not showing the content therein. But when i got out of edit mode all that order was gone. It was doing the same thing it did without the plugin - a big chunk of 34 sections showing all of the content.
Anyone know why this would be?

Sorry for the delay.
It doesn't make sense to me why it worked, but here it is:
With 'collapsed topics' plugin installed > Click on your course home page > click edit settings > scroll down to 'course format' with 'collapsed topics' in the first box next to 'format' > scroll down to "course layout' and change to 'show all sections on one page'.
That did it. Nice and neat - 34 different sections that you can click on to see the content therein.
