Need help in linking activities to a course outcome

Hi,

I want to calculate the course outcome score of a student based on the grades obtained from course activities by using weighted mean of these grades. 

I tried creating a category called "outcome 1" under the course but couldn't link it to the activities that are already in use in the calculation of total course score.

Seems like an easy task but couldn't figure out how and decided to ask here after hours of trying

Hi Serdar,

I am not sure whether the page 'Grade calculations' in Moodle docs is helpful to you. You need to give each activity or grade item an ID. Use the same IDs in your grade calculation.

Thanks for the help..

I wish we were able to just weight activities without bothering with equations everytime an outcome is created
