Hi Eduardo,
you should:
- bind the chat daemon to your public network address - the one used to expose your Moodle instance -, otherwise no one will be able to connect to it outside the server;
- check your firewall settings to allow connections on both the server and the clients;
- (optional) select a firewall-friendly port for your clients e.g. 8080.
