Need to hide "Graded by" info on Grade Feedback page

Is there a way to hide the "Graded by" information associated with grade feedback so that a student does not see who graded the item (see image below)?  While this is not normally an issue for Teachers that are posting the feedback as they are ultimately responsible for the grade assigned, however, an issue may arise when TA's are doing the grading.  Many Teachers want their TA's to be anonymous and many TA's want to be anonymous as well.  Some of the factors to consider that affect the necessity for anonymity would be the size of the school, the grade or academic level difference between the students and TA, class size, etc.  It would be nice to have an option to prevent the "Graded by" information from being displayed.

The desired solution would be for a Teacher to have an option in a course to identify a role or roles that would be anonymous to the student in the "Graded by" feedback display.

There are a few potential workaround options to deal with this issue, but none are really effective or desirable:

  • Manual Account - Provide a manual account for a Teacher that they can use to add to their courses and assign the role of TA.  This is problematic because a Teacher may be teaching multiple courses.  Do you create an account for each course/section for each Teacher that requests this?  This is what we are currently doing.
  • Use CSS - Not sure if this is possible or not, but add some CSS to the site that hides this information.  Can CSS be added to an individual course?  I am assuming that even if this is an option, the CSS would not be able to do it dependent upon the role of the grader.
  • Gradebook item export/import - Have TA's do all of the grading by providing a file to the Teacher to import.

Does anyone else have any suggestions or solutions?
