module installation mess

trying to install book module I've noticed that it replaces files from moodle base install.

moodle book info:
1.4.3 CVS cechkout from 2005-04-11

I can't upgrade to newer version for several reasons so I'm looking for a fix which will remove conflits with files:

lang/ca/help/index.html lang/ca/help/mods.html lang/de/book.php lang/es/book.php lang/id/help/mods.html lang/ja/book.php lang/ja/help/index.html lang/ja/help/mods.html

or I am doing something wrong?

Some of the language folders were missing a sub-folder. The issue was fixed in June, so your version from April would still have this. Can you download a fresh version?
