How to override editsection_form ...

Hi everybody,

I am creating a new course format to display section in reverse weekly format.

I want to override the editsection_form to force teachers to specify a section name.

So I want to add a required rule on element 'name' and I want to remove element 'usedefaultname'.

Is it possible to do that ?

I tried to use section_format_options() but I think it is only to add new elements.

If anyone have an idea, please let me know.

Hi Tistou,

As far as I can tell there is no way of doing this without modifying core code.  Perhaps find another way as you can control the output of the section title and perhaps add a request to the teacher if something is not set correctly.
