I've just installed the latest version of the certificate plugin (v2.8) onto my version of Moodle (v2.8.5).
I have a two-part question concerning certificates if anyone could please help.
My company is putting together some courses on Moodle and we want to customise the certificates we give to people so that they have our company's branding. I've uploaded an image that we would like to use as the watermark. I see that you can upload different images for the watermark, border, signature, stamp, seal etc. Do these images form a template certificate? And then the student's name and the name of the course completed is pasted over the top?
Also we have only just started putting together our first course, it's a while off being completed. Is there a way that we can generate certificates to see what they look like? I just want to play around with our certificates so I can get them looking the way we want but I can't see a way to do that in the options of the certificate plugin?
Can certificates only be edited once a course has been put together?
