I am using Moodle 2.6. When I look at a user profile, I see the profile fields divided into sections: General, User Picture, Additional Names, Interests, Optional, Hierarchy.
The Department field is in the Optional fields, and it is a field that I want to use but it is hidden from me when I want to use it.
For example, if I want to sort users by Department, I can't do it, because the Department field is unavailable.
Do you know how to get the Department field to appear in the following situation?
1. Go to Administration > Site Administration > Users > Accounts > Browse List of Users

Add a filter. The goal is to filter by department, but the Department
field does not appear. Do you know how to make it appear?
