Hi all,
I have a problem with the Site News Forum and I was hoping someone could help.
I have given some users a locally assigned role as a teacher to the site news forum so that they can post. On our site Timed Posts to forums (forum_enabletimedposts) is enabled.
When I log in (as administrator) the Display Period appears as normal, however when one of the users (with a teacher role) attempts to post to the site news forum the Display Period is not available. (images attached)
Display Period displays as normal for these users in their
own courses, this problem appears to be limited to the site news forum only.
I have check the relevant permissions and think everything is in order and I am beginning to suspect this is a coding issue (the timed post setting is noted as being experimental).
Does anyone have any thoughts?
