Variable User Themes

Theme development for Moodle 1.5 is impressive. I am not a coder, but would ask if anyone has considered developing a CSS theme template which an instructor or course creator could use to allow user defined course themes. For example , if you have a California student taking a course, can they select the "California theme" or other theme that would have the state flag, beaches, logos etc. I would appreciate any ideas.

Tom, Moodle offers site, course and user themes. The course themes overwrite all other themes. To make those themes selectable by the user or the course creator set the appropriate options in the "Moodle/Administration/Variables" page.

To support this approach you can design a base theme as "parent" and different "child" themes with small changes you offer the students.

I hope you can go on with this information
