Hello there

Does any body know if it is possible for me to lock response templates in an essay question?

I want to make a table that the students can fill in but I am afraid they will accidentally delete some of it and then be unable to answer the question.

Sorry, no. I can see why that would be a useful features, but technically it would be very, very hard to implement.

By comparison, the response template feature we could implement was quite easy to do.
