To meet the needs of my current employer I have started working on a basic drawing plugin for Atto that leverages the HTML Canvas object.
The code base is partially derived from Damyon Wiese's Image plugin and as such will be distributed under GPL v3.
Although the PoodLL plugin with its drawing functionality is functional we found it too awkward for adding drawings/sketches in a HTML editor especially if you are using it in a question and your primary objective is to administer a test rather than teach people to become Moodle experts.
Any feedback/suggestions will be appreciated and assessed for inclusion.
I am not sure exactly when this will be released as the organisation I work for does not currently have a FOSS release policy/procedure and the code isn't deployed anywhere yet. Also we don't have a set of icons that would be compatible with the GPL v3 licence and fit with the Atto/Moodle style.
