My automatic Moodle backup takes about 1 hour on the "calcualting users" function before it goes on to backing up the courses. This used to take a few minutes at most. I only have about 480 users. Any ideas?
I'm also using LDAP authentication in case that makes a difference.

this recent discussion could be (explain) the cause of your problem. Such problem has been solved some days ago and it's available in the latest Moodle 1.5.2+ version.

Thanks Eloy, I'm still a newbie at Moodle, Is it safe to download the latest version and then just move the Backup Folder into my live account?
