Just a quick question in regards to the quiz export feature.
I am noticing corrupted data in xls feeds from quizes our system.
This occurs only in a system that was upgraded and was not occuring in the period before the upgrade was performed.
I have created a completely new Moodle install and tested this and it works well.
Now to the details of what is actually happening.
On downloading the data excel tries to open the file and reports that it is corrupted and may not well be an xls file.
Upon closer inspection of the xls file (less) there appears to be a single line of white space at the top of the file.
After dubiously removing this line using vi the file is actually 100% intact and works perfectly as expected.
I am not sure if this is a bug introduced during the upgrade of the system but as mentioned this only occurs on an upgraded system and not on a new installation of the system.
any information in regards to this would be very helpful.
