Hi Brian,

Perhaps your teachers have three categories for each of the terms, and all they have to do is zero weight or hide the non-current term, then unhide them all at the end of the year and adjust the weights.

But if your teachers have weighted components foreach term then you can have categories like Fall_Assignments, Fall_Quizzess, Winter_Assignments, etc.  Hide all non-current term categories and at the end of the year adjust all the weights again.

Now this will take some time if the teachers have lots of classes each.  Unfortunately the current gradebook doesn't seem to have subcategories that will compose the top categories e.g. subcategory Assignment will be under topcategory Fall.  Then we would not have to hide and adjust weights every end of the term.
