Assignment

Hello,

  I have started using moodle, with most of the faculty of my high school this year.  One of the major issues I heard about was the assignment module.  I got around the new way of entering grades by using the manual grade mod so they could easily grade everything, and using textboxes.  I just want to know if someone could tell me exactly what to modify, or at least where it is, to make there be a textbox to enter the assignment points instead of a dropdown.  The rest of the module can use dropdowns if need be, I just need the textbox at the initial assignment creation.

  On a sidenote, if an assignment is 0 points then, will it show up in the gradebook, or will I need to try and make a checkbox for ungraded so teachers can put assignments up for no grade and not have them clutter their gradebooks.

I appreciate any help possible!  Looking foward to the new 1.5.3 interface to this, hopefully it won't be long in coming and will help fix this too!
