As an administrator is it possible to completely disable the grading and gradebook functionality of moodle?
I don't even want the teachers to know they have the options of assigning and displaying grades through moodle. All the assignments will be offline and we won't be using the Quiz module.

Hi,
you can disable the quiz in the administration, modules. Further you must delete the quiz folder in your installation.
But think about a lot of other grading options in other activities. You can't disable them all. You can disable the Grades-Link in the administration block of the course in administration - configuration.
