[2.8] Enrolling cohorts in course, what happened to the user interface?

Dear people,

In Moodle 2.7, you could enroll cohorts into courses quit easily. In Moodle 2.8, this is nearly impossible if you have a big Moodle installation.

This is the new screen:

 

However, if you click the 'Enroll x users' button, you MANUALLY enroll them. I want the COHORT to enroll, not the manual students.


Now this is possible, but it is now ONLY done from the 'enrollments methods screen':



Big problem though... the next screen gives you the cohorts in a drop-down menu... with no search options!


This leaves me with almost 1000 cohorts in a drop-down menu, with no search option. In Moodle version 2.7 there was a search option as it was done in the screen shown above (picture 1).

How did this happen? Am I overlooking something, or is this a serious set-back in Moodle administration in 2.8?

How do you get someone assigned to a tracker?
