When I am setting up Self Enrolment for a course the enrolment key has been autofilled with MY password - How do we switch this off please anyone ????

You can't switch it off in Moodle as it's not a Moodle issue, it's most likely it's a browser setting i.e. you have your browser saving details and autofilling.

As Just H said, unfortunately this is a feature of the browser, not of moodle. We tried to fix this issue in https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-45772, but browsers seem to be over-zealous filling anything they can with no sensible way to stop it on our end.
You can always turn off password autofill in the browser, but that will stop it from autofilling your password on other sites

I disagree somewhat. It is partially the way those fields are designed in Moodle.
It also happens on the course edit page - Course ID is autofilled with the username.

Just adding a note here to say if anyone can think of a good way to change moodle that will solve this issue, you can add a comment on the issue and we'll reopen it.

This was happening to me in Safari on my Mac. I went into Preferences for Safari, and deleted some entries in AutoFill|User names and Passwords.

This is a Moodle issue
I keep getting this all over Moodle and I have never ever encountered this before, unless its a password field, which the enrolment key or course name should be
