From our side we are providing different sort of content on our moodle servers since some weeks. Moodle is an excellent tool, but we have to manage security of content & copyrights of videos.
From my side, I'm giving courses in information security and don't want some competitors to collect my videos and to publish them everywhere, as they have been developped internally and it tooks weeks of work. We don't want somebody to put it on a download filesystem outside our education system.
What kind of solution can match to moodle functionalities ? Providing video through file downloading system is great, but after I want to check if somebody is spreading to others or not.
If you're challenging the same constraint as mine, how did you manage this situation? DRM is a solution? VIMEO provide a pro release but without authentification system, so it's not adapted unfortunately... Is there any tips about it ?
Thanks for your feedback!
