Zero grades in gradebook

Zero grades in gradebook

We have an instructor that has a number of zero grades in their gradebook, but would like these zero grades not to affect the course total for the students in the course, like an empty grade would.  Is there a way to do this?  Our site is currently running Moodle version 2.8.3.  The course is using simple weighted mean of grades for the overall course aggregation and Natural aggregation for sub categories.

Thanks

In the grade book view, if you turn on "Editing On", you can go into an student's individual grade and "Exclude" it.  Give this a try. I believe that the student will still see this grade in their grade book, but it is excluded from calculations.  When excluded, your Grade Book View of grades should also so you that it is excluded.

Rick,

Thanks for the reply.  I will pass your fix along to the instructor.
