in the current version, students will always see all appointments on one page. There's no "paging" in the student screen. (See however CONTRIB-5194.)
Teachers, however, will see 20 slots at a time. They can navigate to other slots via the "paging bar" below the table of slots. (If you don't see this one, it might be a theming issue.)
