Hi Themers,

Any ideas on how to solve this: https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-theme_essential/issues/457 ?

I'm thinking that perhaps 'floatingheaders.js' is over engineered and does not need duplicate mark-up for the header / column titles but instead just needs to react to the scroll bar (as it does already) and adjust them so they float as an absolute inside a relative detaching themselves from the document flow.

Thoughts / solutions please smile.

Cheers,

Gareth

I think that it should be suggested that Moodle HQ creates a new layout expressly for the 'gradebook'.  This way the page could be minus a header, and built in the way it needs to work, just using some simple styling, and have little or no theme stamped on it.
