Profile description won't save

Profile description won't save

I'm currently trying to edit the description field on my moodle.org profile,  but no matter what content I enter, it's not saved.
No errors of any kind are displayed, the value just simply doesn't save and isn't displayed.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

It seems this is a recent regression and will be fixed soon. Please see MDL-49169 for more details.

It seems that MDL-49169 has been fixed, but moodle.org hasn't been upgraded.

When are moodle.org updates made?

Moodle.org is upgraded whenever we have a major or minor release. Moodle 2.8.4 is due for release on Monday, so not long to wait!
