I recently backed up an instance of Moodle 2.5.2, moved it to another location and had it upgraded to Moodle 2.7.2. I also had the Lambda theme apply and made a few miscellaneous modifications that shouldn't have any impact.
The 2.7.2 site no longer emails certificates correctly. The student receives an email that states, "Attached is your certificate for The XXXX Course." But the physical certificate isn't attached. I've tried multiple different email accounts to rule out a change to a particular computer or email account.
I still have the old 2.5.2 site. It is not having this problem, which also helps ruling out the problem being associated with an email account or a Outlook issue et cetera.
I can't imagine this has anything to do with a theme. If it was something wrong with 2.7.2 then more people would be aware of it. I'm completely stuck. Obviously, something must have been changed that I consider to be unrelated that is stopping the attachments.
I successfully get emails from quiz completion and feedback being filled out. Those emails do not have attachments so it isn't a perfect comparison.
Is there anything out there that would cut attachments from emails being generated by Moodle?
I attached a copy of the actual email that I receive without the attachment.
