Running Moodle 2.8.2
I have had LDAPS working sucessfully. I needed to add another OU in a different domain in the same forest. So, I just switched to the global catalog port (3269) and add the additional OU as a separate context.
Works beautifully - now have users from both domains logging into Moodle...BUT....I have lost the ability for users to update their profiles or passwords in Moodle - or for me to change their profiles as admin.
I would think it was a permissions issue on my bind user but I have a Joomla site also on a Debian Linux distro that is set up to talk to the same Global catalog with the exact same bind user and it is able to update passwords/profiles just fine. So it has to be something within moodle or specific to this specific Debian install...for some reason, I must have lost the write permission.
(I have the TLS recert never thing done so it isn't that!)
