This may be a developer type question, but here's what I'm trying to accomplish. Maybe someone can provide some direction.
At our institution, when a course is over, we assign a role for teachers called "viewer" that allows them to look at their course, but they can't edit anything. We would like to remove this viewer role so that the teacher cannot see the course any more. We still would like the teacher to be listed in the enrolements so that we can see who had access to the class.
So I'm looking for a way to bulk remove a specific role from all courses in a specific category.
I can do some development, but I'm not sure where to start. Running a query to the database I think would be easy, but would like to do it the "proper" way.
Any feedback or direction would be greatly appreciated.
