On installing from Softaculous on my web site (cpanel) I started www,orisys.biz/moodle/admin and was faced with the above error. My first and only attempt to try and access Moodle!
Any recommendations?

It means that the $CFG->dbtype setting in the config.php file (in the 'root' of your Moodle installation) is not one of the database types in the comment next to it. Or, the driver for that database type doesn't exist in PHP.
It's very hard to provide support for Softaculous installations (I don't recommend it at all) so you may end up having to ask whoever supplied the script to help. Most likely your hosting company.
