My environment is Windows Server 2008R2 and Active Directory, and currently Moodle 2.52
I have successfully set up LDAP to register the students via an Active Directory Connection.
What I want to do is allow Teachers to create courses and then using an Active Directory Group auto enrol students in selected courses, without having to specify in active directory which courses the students can do.
ie. Teacher creates a course for Year 7 science, I want all students in the AD Year7 group to be enrolled in it. It is ok if I have to run a script once a day to do it.
At the moment we are having to use the self enrol option.
