Though the Feed-back activity allows to export the answers to an Excel spreadsheet, the way it is exported makes it difficult to analyze it.
Example: imagine this very simple feed-back to measure degree of satisfaction at the end of a certain course:
1. Question 1: who has been your teacher?
The user has to choose between two possibilities: John, Theresa
2. Question 2: How was he/she?
The user has to choose between two possibilities: Good Bad.
Because of the way the Excel is exported, we will know how many students had John and how many had Theresa. We will also know how many students think their teacher is good and how many think he/she is bad. But we won't know how many students think John is a good teacher.
This would be solved if the export to Excel just follows basic table structure like this
This Excel could just be downloadable from the "Show responses" tab.
This is just a suggestion. Our teachers usually miss this.
