Issue: We have a system where Discipline Chairs get a course reviewer role (based on the non-editing teacher role) that is set at a category level, but they also teach some courses within that same category. They are being overwhelmed with notifications from the other courses and want to limit those.
Proposed Solution and Question: Can I remove the notification permissions for the category assigned role (Course Reviewer) but ensure that in the courses where they assigned the non-editing prof role, they will still get their notifications?
Here is an example of what we are doing:
AA category (user has course reviewer role)
- course 1(course reviewer)
- course 2 (course reviewer)
- course 3 (course reviewer, non-editing prof)
We need to ensure that they get notifications from assignments, etc from course 3 but not course 1 and 2. Does my solution make sense?
