Moodle in English: Custom Filter Help

I've followed most of the instructions in discussion https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=214627

But I get Error/ nosuchplugin.

when selecting my new filter

I would like to create duplicate searchtext filters called Firstname, Surname, Course and Department.

I've done firstname and it fails when I add it.

Any Help would be great.

It's becoming a theme.

I look for ages put a post here and find the problem seconds later.

My filter was "1stname".

The plugin mustn't like numbers I changed them all to "firstname" and halleluiah.

Hope this helps someone else.

It isn't that the plugin doesn't like numbers, it is that the field is firstname, not 1stname!!
