Making Site News look good

Making Site News look good

Hi all,

We use to have site news on the main page, but have decided to move it away so we use the site news page.

Url: http://moodle.langstone-jun.portsmouth.sch.uk/mod/forum/view.php?id=10

How can I get this to show the topics as it would on the front page? or is the a better plugin?

Thanks

Jamie

My understanding is that the reason it appears this way on the Homepage is because your news items page are feeding into the "News Items" section on the home page. I don't know that you can actually change the way your site news page appears/displays.

I once got something useful by enabling RSS feeds for the site news and then going to one of those sites which will transform your RSS feed into HTML and then embedding in a section on a course page (a bit like this but this is the first one I got to on Google so no recommendations at all) Then instead of directing people to your  news forum URL (which I think is actually very nice!) you could direct them to a page or a course with one topic and the feed embedded in.
