We could use some advice how to handle newcomers to a course where the teacher uses group assignments.
The teacher has put together groups and most groups have already handed in their work and have been graded.
So he created new groups, one for each newcomer, and assumed that they would be able to work on the assignments on their own.
But in the grading table their groups (still one group/tablerow for each of them) have the attribute "default" (the original groups don't have that) and as soon as one of them uploads an assignment it is there for other newcomers, too.
