I seem to be unable to make Task Chain or Hot Pot activities show in notifications on the My Home page. They do appear in the "Upcoming events" block in the course, but there's no trace on My Home.
Impossible? Is there a setting for this?
Tested this on Moodle 2.6.6 (Build: 20141110).

thanks for alreting me to the fact that HotPots and TaskChains don't appear on the "My Moodle" page. It seems they need a "_print_overview" function in their lib.php file. I will add that this week and let you know when the new downloads are available.

PS. May I suggest slight corrections to the Polish translations of the My Home notifications?
"Masz TaskChain wymagających uwagi" => "Masz zadania TaskChain, które wymagają uwagi"
"Masz Quiz Hot Potatoes wymagających uwagi" => "Masz quizy Hot Potatoes, które wymagają uwagi"

A follow-up and possible request for a fix.
My Home now reports - for both HotPots and TaskChains - also past events and those without dates set on them. In other words, reminders are shown when they are no longer valid.
By way of comparison, the regular quizzes and assignments on Moodle do not show on My Home when:
- due date on a quiz is past, or no due date is set
- cut-off date on assignments is past
While the criteria for what exactly displays on My Home are far from standardized for all the activities (alas even those core ones), I think we need a way of controlling how HP and TC behave, I think.
So, would it be possible - for example - to block them on My Home after the "Available until" date or when this date is not set ?

I see. I had not understood the use of the MyMoodle page.
Looking at MDL-10568, it seems that only activities with an opening time in the past and a deadline in the future are to be displayed on the MyMoodle page. Thanks for pointing that out.
I have modified the HotPot and TaskChain modules to behave in a similar fashion. Please update and confirm at the next convenient opportunity.
